Protesters...*_*

It's so funny because like every other day there are some protesters in central London. Don't get me wrong, I find it really good and courageous what they are doing and I wish them all the best in achieving their goals! ...but it's still so funny, sorry =]] I would definitely protest for animal rights though!

Anyway the mother of all protests in London is the anti-war protest camp set up in Parliament Square, outside the Palace of Westminster and it's been going on for a ridicoulosly long time. The most well-known Parliament Square protester is called Brian Haw and he has been camping there since 2001.

The Herald, 26 February:
The protest camp in Parliament Square is a "national embarrassment" that is "permanently disfiguring" London, senior Tories said today.

Sir Patrick (Staffordshire S): "Whilst it is absolutely important that people should be free to demonstrate outside Parliament peacefully, to lobby Parliament, it is quite wrong that there should be a squalid encampment permanently disfiguring the centre of our great capital city."
